S. Korea’s Doosan wins $1.3 bn order from India

SEOUL - 
South Korea's Doosan Heavy Industries and Construction said Monday it has won a 1.5 trillion won ($ 1.3 billion) deal to build industrial boilers for India's state-run energy firm.

Under the agreement with India's National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC), Doosan will build five boilers for two NTPC power plants in Karnataka and Chhattisgarh, Doosan said.

SPX Awarded Contract for Advanced Direct Contact Condensers Geothermal Plant Project in Kenya

SPX Corporation today announced that SPX Heat Transfer Inc. has been awarded a contract to supply four advanced direct contact condensers (ADCC's) to what will eventually be the largest geothermal power plant ever constructed in Kenya.
